Support our Missions to the Moon and Headquarters Development in Kamuela, Hawai'i

International Lunar Observatory Association (ILOA Hawai’i) is an interglobal enterprise incorporated in Hawaii since 2007 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit to expand human knowledge of the Cosmos through observation from our Moon and to participate in internationally cooperative lunar base build-out, with Aloha – the spirit of Hawaii.

Along with its goals to advance 21st Century Galaxy education, science and exploration, ILOA has a vested interest in ensuring Hawaii’s position as a global leader in astronomy and space science for the next 100 years throughout the Solar System with a series of Moon missions.

ILOA has chosen to establish its Global Headquarters here on Hawaii Island and is currently seeking contributions to support its future Moon missions and to develop its HQ on ~1 acre site in Kamuela, host to world class CFHT and Keck Observatory facilities. ILOA HQ with its cutting-edge research and education activities will expand the potential of our Hawaii Island communities, and provide valuable resources for local students and educators.

The ILOA precursor ILO-X mission instruments are contracted to launch and land on the Moon near side NET November 2023 aboard an Intuitive Machines Nova-C lander via SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket - which is set to launch between November 16-20 from Cape Canaveral. ILOA is working on more advanced payloads for long-term astronomy, Earth observation, local lunar landscape and communications for 2024-26 time frame.
